Cala Bona. situated on the picturesque north east coast of Majorca. A small fishing village which has adapted to a more tourist resort and caters well for the British traveller. Cala Bona has a range of open air cafes and bars lining the narrow streets with a range of cuisine to suit all tastes. The activities and entertainment center around the large hotels and in general the area is more suited to those seeking a more relaxed holiday where you can chill on the 2km of fine sandy beaches. The beach stretches from Cala Bona to the lively resort of Callor Millor, which is only a few minutes taxi ride away or 20 minute walk along the promenade.

One of the most popular trips is to the impressive Caves of Drach which costs 7.5 euros to enter. Photographs are not permitted within the caves, but are well worth a visit. Check with tourist information for times of the tours, as the tours are only a few times a day and last almost an hour.. The caves have three chambers the Black Cave(Cueva Negra), White Cave (Cueva Blanca) and Luis Salvator Cave (Cueva Luis Salvator). The Caves of Drach also house Lake Martel( Lago Martle) one of the worlds largest underground lakes. Taking the boat ride on Lake Martel is a truly pleasurable experience where classical musicians play as you take in the beauty of the caves stalagmites and Stalactites. Another popular day trip from Cala Bona is to Punta De'n Amer situated between Sa Comer and Cala Millor. Punta De'n Amer is a 200-hectare nature reservere where a 17th century watch tower is positioned
