Transfer time: Approx 60 minutes

Cala d'Or, situated on the southeastern coast, in Majorca riviera. Once a small fishing village which has developed into a tourist resort covering 4km with lots of numerous small sandy beaches and bays ideal to go swimming in. The Cala Gran beach is the largest and most popular beach which gets very busy during the summer months. So an early rise is essential if you require a sunbed or parosol. Cala Llonga is biggest coves in Cala d'or and one of the most up-to date and chic Yacht Marinas on the Island.

There are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants around the Cala Gran arena of Cala d'Or. The restaraunts offer a variety of dishes at prices to suit all pockets. The harbour area has kept its small fishing village feel about it, due to planning restrictions around Cala gran on high rise buildings. Buses from Cala d'Or resort are cheap but sometime infrequent so Car hire is recommended for those wanting to explore the more remote parts of the island.

Entertainment in Cala d'Or

The entertainment in Cala d'Or is mainly hotel based, although in the Cala Gran pedestrianised zone area, livelier bars can be found at an increasing rate each year. There is no main water park nearby but plenty of day trips to other parks on the island. The resort is clean, fairly quiet and more suited to families and couples.
