Camp de Mar is twenty miles west of the Son Sant Joan International Airport in Palma which makes it one of the easiest resorts to get to. It features fairly reliable transport from Camp de Mar to Palma and back again. Camp de Mar is also a haven for second homes for those who have been entranced by the Mediterranean island paradise. There have been several notable public figures that have chosen Camp de Mar as an oasis away from their regular life. Homes have been or are currently owned by such notables as Tom Cruise, Rudolf Valentino’s wife and Claudia Schiffer. Camp de Mar has long been viewed as a sanctuary for celebrities as well as societies elite.

Accentuating the exclusive tastes of guests visiting Camp de Mar, moorings in the harbor at Puerta de Andratx can accommodate as many as 300 yachts. The marina at Camp de Mar is one of the most widely recognized on the island.

Championship Golf

Guests are also thrilled with the half dozen championship quality golf courses in Camp de Mar. One of the newer courses is Golf de Andratx and is strategically located adjacent to the five star Royal Dorint Hotel. Beyond the amenities provided with plush Mediterranean accommodations, there are very few additional services to be found.

Privacy

For public figures who have found it difficult to find a vacation spot where they can actually enjoy themselves away from the spotlight, Camp de Mar has proven an ideal destination.
